A simple question that's driving me up the wall!
WHEN CAN YOU SAVE MGS2?

I've just arrived at the Russian Commander's speech and I failed the time limt thing, so I turned it off, but nothing has been saved.

What's going on?
Whay hasn't my game been saved after the first boss battle with the russian women?

You can save at any point - Yep!!

If you had listened to all the cutscenes, you probably would have known that!

Yep, you can save at any point during the game. There aint no certain save points. Speak to Otacon to save while plaing as Snake and speak to Rose to save while playing as Raiden.

If I remember right, Otacon does this for you. Call him up and it should give you the option to save. Instead of tuning in the numbers to contact people, I think pressing down brings up the names so you can just press X on them to contact them straight away. :-)

I'm not sure.
I bought MGS2 the other day and for some reason I just can't get into it.
I played through a bit, but I never reached a save point, or at least nothing has been saved to my memory card as yet.
