Mobile phone users are being warned over a text message scam that could
end up costing them hundreds of pounds. A message saying "hi sexy" is
reported to be luring unsuspecting victims into signing up for a premium
rate reverse charging service.
Simply replying to the message registers the user to the service. Once
signed up, the user is then bombarded with texts for which they have to
pay.
Group IT Security urge all mobile phone users not to reply back to
unsolicited SMS messages.
If you are in any doubt, delete the message immediately.

Theres anouther virus being sent around, my mum got an email telling her about it.
If you get a phone call and the number says ACE-? on the screen (the incoming number) END THE CALL as if you answer it, it will infect your mobile with a virus, the virus will erase your IMIE and IMSI. This will make your mobile un useable as it will make your mobile unable to connect to your network. This will mean you have to buy a new phone. Motorola and Nokia have confirmed this information.

Hmm, this may be what my mate got the other day
He gets a lot of texts from a girl, saying "hi sexy" etc and other sick things I can't disclose here (bondage)
And he got one from a number he didn't recognise, so he replied saying "Hi *her name* what you up to?"
I'm not sure if it said "hi sexy", I don't remember, but it was something similar I'm certain
Maybe I should tell him, heh

i have a sorta phone virus lol
i got a text message on my nokia 3210 that was blank when i opened it but once id opened it i couldn;t do anything on my phone and that includes turning it off using the power button.
to reset i have to take the battery out and then it goes back to normal. The problem is i can;t delete this etxt message :[

You will recieve a text from someone claiming to be "your girlfriend"
Once replying, you will then be subjected to days of follow up text messages where you will entirely at fault for everything, irregardless of which era is mentioned.
This will continue for many days until you are forced to spend money on
(a) Flowers
(b) Chocolates
(c) A new woman
The easiest way to avoid this is to contact "Your Mates" and hang out with them.
