What scares me is the thought of getting beat up by a gang of thugs on my way walking home from work.
Someone was beaten up pretty seriously a few months ago on the route I take home from work; it was so bad he was left in a coma that he might not even wake up from. I usually don't see anyone on the way home though, so I'm probably just paranoid, but it's still something that scares, or at least un-nerves me.

I'm scared of heights, which is a real bind as I'm a rollercoaster fanatic.
I went on the Big one at blackpool again when I was there recently, and going up the ramp was horiffic! It was all better once I started going down though! :)
The scariest thing I have ever done was to go on the london eye. i sat in the middle of the pod with my eyes shut gripping the seat, and had white marks across my palms from holding so tight for about an hour after i got off the thing.
It would have been fine if it span at 80mph though...
