I have started this discussion to get an idea in to what people think is the best console and the reasons for feeling that way

Many people like many different types of games, some like RPG's more than FPS's. You should pick the console with the most games that you enjoy. For me the PS2 has about 3, but the GC has loads. It's just sad that you can't see past this fact. You supergarcy, you are *checks dictionary, finds long, clever word* superficial.

i didn't say it didn't have plus points, many of the games are great but to fit them on the same scale as Ninty games they only get a 10% (thats the best one's)

Is AM multiplatform? Didn't know that. Rez was sort of made to be on both DC and PS2, and we're talking about between the three current next gen consoles so I guess that sort of counts. And Stuntman is a love it or hate it thing, I love it.

Rez is a dreamcast game. An Auto Modellista is multi platform. I admit that Stuntman is original, but it isn't a great game.
The PS2 is best for sports games (except basketball), but the N64 was by far the best console for wrestling games. No Mercy is the best wrestling game available.

Oh how I laughed. This is absolute tosh. Resident Evil is a rubbish game. Lots of people think it's great, but personally, I think it is crap. Super Monkey Ball all the way.
