Yup you rad the title, more comedy is needed in games. I was playing MDK2 earlier and it just cracked me up. what is quite a serious shooter made me literally laugh out loud.

After a tense fire fight with some weird robot things I moved onto what could have been a very annoying jumping section. But I couldn't help laughing as you do the jumps a floating platform appears with some robots sitting on it watching you do the jumps, what smashed it is they cheer as you do the jumps if you fall they boo and when you do long jumps they cheer. It may not sound like much but it really was genious.

We need more moments like this in games, so come on developers get a sense of humour.

Incidentally, can anyone tell me how to get past the doctors first mission in MDK2. I've made the ladder, and now I'm just jumping around platforms, running in circles.

Broken Sword 1 & 2 are funny aswell, manily due to witticism & sarcasm from George.
And the many oddball characters that he meets on his travels are brilliant.

Funniest game ever is Secret of Monkey Island: no contest. Verbal sword fighting is the best concept in history: You fight like a dairy farmer! How appropriate, you fight like a cow! Genius.

Yes.
In games there should be "Less Killing & More Laughter".

Fortunately I am a morbid git, and the last time I can remember laughing at something in a game was when I blew up a park-full of innocent citizens on GTA3 with a petrol bomb reducing them to a pool of soggy meat.
