Well, as this forum disappears under spam, Metal Gear Solid 2, Grand Theft Auto 3 and Xbox related posts, we seem to have colectiely forgotten that there is a rather stunning amount of spectacular games heading to the Playstation 2.
This Friday we have three decent games - Dynasty Warriors 3, Eve Of Extinction and ICO. Does anyone care, well one other person, but thats it.
Virtua Fighter 4, a contender to Dead Or Alive 3 on the Xbox, nearly arcade perfect if japanese imports are anything to go by, and is there any talk about this potentially ggreat game ? Nope.
Tonight in London Eidos officially reveal the look and details of Tomb raider Next Gen. Regardless of your own thoughts on Lara, if this game is good - in terms of gameplay and graphics - then come Christmas time it will sell the Playstation 2. Has anyone mentioned this ? Nope.
ECTS coming up in May, any speculation about the future of the PS2 an what will be on show there ? No. anything at all about future and forthcoming games, very little. Triple H may have copied his Gender Gaming post but at least it was interesting ! if this forum doesn't get some kind of interesting topics soon then we may as well go set up camp in FOG Chat and Prime, or even the Xbox forum.......why ? Because they have interesting topics that soon knock the spam down the page. Maybe spam is over running this forum because there are very few interesting posts like those seen in FOG.

With Xbox out and Gamecube incoming the next gen console scene has beomce ery interesting and this Christmas is going to be the best yet for all gamers as the three companies go all out to convince gamers and non gamers that there console is the best. There isn't a "best" console, only hte on you enjoy yourself, or ones :P The trouble is no one at Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo will admit this :)

I've chosen ICO as my GAD win, and I'm looking forward to Eidos revealing Tomb Raider Next Gen tonight, I wonder if there is a live webcam of it anywhere ? I guess all the sites will pick up on it tomorrow, hopefully ! Eve Of Extinction also sounds like it has a good storyline to it, but without a review I'm wary of investing in this.
At least OPS2M should be out tomorrow with the Virtua Fighter 4 demo,and more importantly, Vampire Night demo (I love light gun games, especially with this GCon2). I eally hope That Vampire Night turns out to be decent. Vexx looks like its darker image could make it suceed where Jak And Daxter failed (in terms of sales). That ruck racing game could be good, but what about speed, I'd have thought it would need to be realistic like GT3 so will it be 'fast enough' ? Still trucks can get high speeds...I'm sure many of those on the motorway haven't been introduced to that mystical device, the "limiter" (To stop them doing high speeds in case anyone doesn't know).

I've got ICO on order - played the demo and it looks fantastic.
Others I'm looking forward to are still a way off: Stuntman, Run Like Hell, The Getaway, Vexx, V-Rally 3, TOCA Race Driver, to name just a few. Even the truck racing game in the latest mags looks like it could be fun.

I think a lot of people, especially the longer term regulars (I've only become one today! )do want to talk about these other topics, but they know they will die under a pile of spam. I'm not saying don't ask for help, I'm saying lets have, for example, one thread for a game and post everything there - read "Whats wrong with us" for more on this kinda thing.
I could start posts about all these great new games.add ons, but what would be the point ? I've got no plan to lead a one person conquest of this forum so I'm not postingon everything I think is great, it's up to everyone to make this forum more interesting !

Can i just say there is nothing wrong with mutiple posts on one game. After all these forums are for getting help from so if someone writes a topic about dog tags in MGS2 but someone else wants to know what to do say on strut A on mgs2 then they will have to start a new topic. No way would i post a different subject in another post just because it is to do with the same game.
Also your point on games beong missed out. If we all wanted to talk about those games then i'm sure we would. Just because there are loads of MGS2 posts doesn't mean people can't post on Virtua Fighter 4. It makes no difference. So if u wanna talk about virtua fighter 4 then please do. Nothings stopping u.
