As you should be well aware they are many different social classes here in the special reserve forums. If you are an insolent newbies I will list them out for you, highest been at the top
Staff
Notables
Regulars
Newbies
Just arrived's
Now if this were to be mysteriously transported to medievil times using a time machine (Or commadore 64) Then what, you may find youself asking, would the social standing of each group be?
Well lets start with the Staff.
Staff:-
The staff would be the Barons or Lords who had huge castles and manors and has huge feasts with steak and girrafe and suchlike. They would have many servants following them (Notables) and everyone in the town would respect them, with the exception of the insolent poorpers & beggars (jat's)
Further down the ladder of social standing would be the Notables
Notables:-
The notables would be the dukes and factory owners. They would have a few servants who were loyal to them (Regulars) and would be ultimately respected and envies by the townsfolk. They would have considerable wealth and receive numerous gifts (GAD's) from the Lord's and Barons.
A little further down the scale would be the regulars
Regulars:-
The regulars would be the common townsfolk. They would have average jobs, and from time to time would get a reward when the work particularly hard (A GAD) The regular may not be a grand social standing but is a point of security, when you know you have made it. These common tolks folk lead normal average lives and live in medium houses. They would admire the notables with considerable awe, one day hoping to be one themselves.
Another few notches down are the newbies
Newbies:-
The newbies would be the equivalent of poorpers. They would work menian jobs down the pits or working on a farm. They would live in houses often with 20 to 30 people who were all in the same situation. These poorpers know if they work hard enough they will eventually be able to get a better job and move up the social stance as a regular. They dont particularly look up to the notables because they doubt they will ever be in that social class.
Closer to the bottom of the social ladder are the Just arrived's
Just arrived's:-
The Just arriveds would be the beggars and theives of the town. They are just either begging or theiving until they can get back on their feet and become a newbie, or perish from the world. They do not respect anyone else in the town and are ridiculed by the higher classes.
At the very bottom of the social standing there are the "User banned's"
User banned's:-
These would be the town idiots who would have rotted fruit and vegetables pelted at them in the stocks. They would usually be criminals who have forsaken the town rules and the stocks are their punishement. They are looked down upon by the rest of the town as they are the lowest of all lows.
