Okay, here it is...

Dear PSM2,

What do I want to see in GTA: Vice City? Well, for a start, pretty much nothing that's been reported on the game so far is what I WANT to see.
So far you've managed to tell me that the developers are going for a larger, more expansive game. But the thing is, despite having over 40 weapons and the city being twice the size of the one in GTA3, pretty much nothing has been mentioned in the way of gameplay and missions. The one thing that I definitely don't want is GTA3+. SSX Tricky improved a great deal on SSX; it upgraded all the tracks, added relationships and uber tricks. If all Rockstar can do is give me an extra car here or there, I won't be impressed. Remember, it's quality over quantity.
The one thing in GTA3 which I thought needed to be better was the mission structure. It's all very well getting indicidual missions from various people, but I think there should be more focus on a 'career' mode where you can also choose specialist missions. This means I can bypass those frustrating street races in favour of, says, some more sniping missions. However, from all the screenshots, it looks exactly the same as GTA3 - even the character model is staggeringly similar.
The biggest doubt in my mind is whether Vice City is just a chas cow, or a full blown sequel with sequel-like traits. Trusting in PSM2, I won't buy the game until I read your definitive review.

- Brilliant letter, Jonathan. Have a copy of Kingdom Hearts, as requested...

Excuse any typo's, that was done in about 2 minutes. And the brown nosing at the end is obligatory, of course.

I should have that in GamesMaster soon. SHOULD. This thread is worthless without magazine scans, though.
