Have you ever played/heard of a game called "phantasy star online" on the dreamcast? I reckon that it is going to be like that - as you can trade/donate items/weapons. If someone dies, the weapon currently equiped lies next to them for the taking - or you can revive if you are nice :D

well i dont really know these things i dont think anyone does but you know these multi-million dollar corporations they never give us a break
dammit! I thought we wouldn't have to. Couldn't we just like hook it up to our current internet providers (I have AOL, so I just pay a fixed rate - so the extra tinme online wouldn't cost me anything extra).
