Well the first snow of the winter has arrived in Derbyshire in the last hour and about an inch has settled already - anyone else got snow yet?

It's raining at the moment, apparently supposed to sleet later tonight. I've been expwcting this all year pretty much. Don't know why - I just somehow knew that this winter would be cold and wet.
I guess our proper snow will arrive in the next few days, but it won't amount to much.
