I'm not saying I don't like this game, it's just that I don't think it is as good as its predecessor, Tony Hawk's 2. The music gives me a headache, and it looks all cartoony. It just doesn't feel right. The levels are too big, so it just gets boring, and the goals are getting a bit ridiculous. And it doesn't have Bob Burnquist.
The one addition that I did like, was the new set of moves, and the amount that there are. Add those to Tony Hawk's 2, and I nearly have a new favourite game of all time.
Tony Hawk's 3, isn't terrible, but it dissappointed me.

I`ve never found a game that grips hold of you in this way. Its not the MGS style take you by the throat and throttle you for several hours, but instead a more gradual procedure. It doesn`t let you know its anywhere near your neck, and then gradually gets its hands round, and almost imperceptibly begins to squeeze. Slowly, slowly, a tiny bit at a time, it tightens... and tightens, until when you finally realise, its way too late, and you are completely under the control of the game.
"The music gives me a headache, and it looks all cartoony."
Well its not my kind of music but its not all that much different from TH1 or TH2, and it suits the game. As for the graphics, cartoony? Cant say i agree with you there, it looks nothing like cartoony, GTA 3 is cartoony but TH3 is a game i would say has realistic graphics. All the characters are modeled on the real people, as are the moves, and they are some of the best grpahics that i have ever seen on a skate boarding game.
"The levels are too big, so it just gets boring, and the goals are getting a bit ridiculous."
The levels are big, much bigger than that of any of the other games, but i see this as a good thing. People always complain when the game is too short, and so this game has tried to combat this, and i wouldnt say the levels are boring either. They are littered with places for you to jump and grind ect, there are hundreds of jumps areas for you to have a go on and there is never a really dull area of the course. Goals getting ridiculous? How do you mean? If you mean they are too hard then you have to keep working at them, they are all possible to complete. Or do you mean there stupid? In which case i have to say would you prefer them boring? All of them are fun to complete, especially the little sub games such as causing the earthquake. There all fun, its original.
In my opinion Tony Hawks 3 is far better than TH2.
