I say this because I have finally spoken my thoughts on THPS3, here's the short, but sweet (or not) review:

As you look at the reviews covering the many pages below, you try to find a review that damns this game. Well, here it is.

I'm not saying I don't like this game, it's just that I don't think it is as good as its predecessor, Tony Hawk's 2. The music gives me a headache, and it looks all cartoony. It just doesn't feel right. The levels are too big, so it just gets boring, and the goals are getting a bit ridiculous. And it doesn't have Bob Burnquist.

The one addition that I did like, was the new set of moves, and the amount that there are. Add those to Tony Hawk's 2, and I nearly have a new favourite game of all time.

Tony Hawk's 3, isn't terrible, but it dissappointed me.

6/10.

The levels are big, much bigger than that of

SOME games can be too short, but I think this in FPSs, adventure etc. I just don't like it if there is such a huge place where you don't go round hitting people and get to a certain place in a game. This may sound stupid, but roaming freely when there is technically not a place to get to just makes me find it boring.

They are littered with places for you

This is true, but the style that I called cartoony repels me from the huge amounts of obstacles that you can do trcks on.

Sorry, but I still prefer TH2.

Pah! Bah! Gah! and Rubbish!

THPS3 is far better than THPS2.

Its crisp, its clean, its fast its smooth. more tricks, more players, more areas, better areas, improved in everyway imaginable!

Have you tried going back to thps2? i did and it was slow, ugly and rubbish! out with the old in with the new!

Ah, we call them goths. :D (no offence to anyone, just thats all they play in our common room at 6th form)

Anyway, Mochas? Where i live there arent many places for people to skate so i guess that we dont have the environment for them.

And me being one? I doubt it, i cant even skate!

Each version of THPS has improved and will no doubt continue to do so (In my humble opinion that is )

The goals are not getting ridiculous at all - what the developers are doing is making more, different goals to extend the gameplay and create new challanges.

If the only difference between 1 and 3 was the levels were bigger but all we needed to do was find S-K-A-T-E and 1 hidden tape then we would have got very bored and the game would have flopped.

The THPS games are so addictive and no I dont particulalry like the music either but it suits and I just turn it down so it is more in the background.

do you ever go out and about? Mochas are the d-heads that go around listening to 'KORN' and 'PAPA ROACH', they skate and where them stupid black clothes all the time and they dis GOD and worship the devil which annoys me. When they come around my area they get beaten up but at least you ain't one pro-evo otherwise you would have known!
