you will need to read & print instructions at

first though to get it to work properly, frame rate is terrible 17fps with XP2200 and Radeon 9700 ! it hasn't been optimized yet - hope the official demo comes along soon.
Enjoy !

What chance do I have of playing in on a 350Mhz PII Geoforce 2?
Zilch, nada, none
I need an upgrade
Which is incredibly annoying.
Years ago, games were kept down in spec so that everyone could play them, now, if you want to play the latest games, it's not just £25 you pay for the game, you have to fork out for a new PC every 6 months, and upgrade it every other week.
Personally, I'm going to just resist the trend and refuse to upgrade my PIII 866mhz GeForce 2MX for another 6 months, meaning I would have had it for 2.5 years.
It should improve with time however, I read somewhere Id are planning to make the game run on low end GeForce 2 cards as well as the high powered GeForce 4 ones.
I think I'll wait for the official release, in the meantime I'm downloading some of those videos, just to finally see the thing in action.
I've been told that the gfx are unreal, and the atmosphere it projects is more akin to Resident Evil that Doom due to the slower pace.
One of the early pictures, the "pinkie" demon with the fat zombie at its jaws is supposed to be fantastic. What you can't see from the still is the lampshade swinging and immulumating the room, while the pinkie shakes the body like a terrier with a rat.
Its going to be another milestone in PC gaming I'll warrant.
I get 2.85k/sec even on my broadband connection!
If I do manage to get it, I'll let you know. I might even be persuaded to stick it on a CD for those who want it - *IF* I can get it.

I'm going to see whether I can get my hands on a few in-game vids.
