I think I've broken my monitor!!

I put my speaker next to it for like five min and now the colors have gone all weird!!!!
Bet no one else has the blue bar on the right going all green and red eh?

*Crys*

Will it fix its self or am I going to have to buy a new monitor?

my speakers arrived from SR today, the satelite speakers are magnetically shielded, and the base unit goes under the desk because it isn't.
and as darkus said they rock :)

My speakers are almost seven years old, they're the only thing left from the original PC we bought. Put them too close to the monitor and the sides of the screen start shaking

One day... one day I will purchase new speakers... one day

I know I know, I'm a silly billy.

But it's fixed now. I used my mega sized mechanic mind and turned it off for 20 min.
Yay me.

(Just don't tell my brother I almost blew up the pc. He would be maaaaad)

It goes away I think.

It's because there's a magnet or something like that in your speakers and it messes up your monitor. It should go away just move your speakers further from your screen.

And don't do it again. :)

it'll probably fix itself, it's to do with the magnetic field from the speaker. My wee brother stuck a powerful magnet next to our TV, there was a big green blotch for months, i've never forgiven him for it.
