"Is 'Burnout' for the PS2 Any good?"

I was just wondering if Burnout was worth getting on the PS2? Is it better than a rental? Is it worth £40? Please would someone tell me if this game is any good!

has neone heard of this game called battleship they should bring it out on the PS2 i'd certainly think that wud be a wise £40 investment.

I know its a wild idea but... I am of to America on thursday and wen i get back i am going to get the game of my choice so i wondered if it was any good!

Ye thanks KR I will probably do that because knowing my luck i will get it and 2 weeks later it will be on platinum, do you know when the next platinum range comes out?

It's a great game.
It's not like your normal boring racers like GT3...cos you are racing amongst traffic.
Best two player racer game I've played in ages.Racing at break neck speeds with a tanker heading towards you but you don't want to pull away until the last minute so your boost bar fills up....closer

The graphics aren't as fancy as GT3s but this isn't a serious racer...Its an arcade game..
Brilliant.

it should be platinum very soon, i would wait until then

i will probably get Deus Ex instead but i am not convinced yet because i really think i will like burnout.

i enjoyed renting it, might get a bit repetitive, rent it.

Unfortunatley you can't go under the trucks, but practically everything else is the same. It is a great game though - a real joy to drive.
