Save as>>>and there should be a thing underneath where you write the file name that says "File type" it should be a scroll down menu too. Click "Jpeg jpg." or something.

Hahaha, I started going to my picture and clicking around when I thought "I don't even now how to lower the quality" I'm beyond my smartness right now.:)
