Had a chance to play this yesterday when I was tidying the storeroom at work. Its the worst platformer attempt I have played in a very long time. Worst since Donkey Knog 64 *cringe worthy*.
Whats wrong with it?
It tries to be everything that all the other amazing platformers are with a new design and new concept about you being able to rewind and fastforward time. Sounds cool huh? Well, it fails on every level.
Every Level. I am now going to take a quote from Edge, 'Blinx feels like a really bad Crash Bandicoot with a broken wrist watch'.
Ouchy!
Just buy Splinter Cell, or Die Hard on the GC.
Mind Control.
;-)
I remember when I first said I was getting an Xbox, er-no was slating Xbox so much most of you wouldn't even recoginise his posts, he was fanboy rambling. He said and I quote from memory "Microsoft are the enemy" in a topic he created highlight how bad xbox was. Also saying his opinion of me as a poster was lowering as I said I was impressed at how good DOA3 looked.
er-no also said "anoyone who buys an xbox is wasting their money". Remember er-no? You said it.
Like most forum members, er-no is alot more open now, past the "xbox is pure evil" stage.
:P
I will make it up to you somehow :)
1. Starting a new topic. There are plenty of other topics asking what blinx is like, and whether people should get it. Couldn't you have posted your views there (as opposed to creating a whole new topic to make your views stand out).
2. The way you worded the title. 'Blinx is CRAP', why so blunt? You could have said it in many different and more intelligent ways 'Blinx isn't what we expected', 'Blinx isn't as good as the reviews say' 'In my opinion, Blinx isn't worth buying'.
I have no problem with critism, as long as it's constructive and perhaps stating what could have been done to make it better and why. I get very annoyed (and I'm sure others do) at the amount of negative comments towards the Xbox and it's games while I'm trying to discuss them and enjoy them - which is probably why I chose to lash out at you.
My opinion: I think it's a cool game. I agree totally with the OXM review. It's curious games like Blinx that keep me interested in gaming.

Its the truth mate. Actually if you bother to read my posts on here and I mean all of them you will come to find I have grown to like the XBox a lot more than I used to and I am also looking forward to playing online with some of the dudes of this forum. Why do I bother coming here if I insist on putting the XBox down? Hang on, I put anything down I don't like, even Nintendo games as I mentioned above. I wanted to other my opinion of Blinx just like I did Splinter Cell. I gave that a fantastic response and I get praise, yet when I give a game that is in terms of standards of platformers and what was expected of it a bad comment that is my personal opinion on about two hours of gaming on it I get you having a go.
That 'Die Hard' thing at the end was merely a jest comment.
or Die Hard on the GC.
Erm, sure. Let me just find my Gamecube. Oh, right. I seem to have encountered a minor problem.
Why do you even bother coming here if you insist on putting the Xbox down? I have no problem with critism, but there were many other Blinx topics that you could have slipped your post in without trying to force your opinion on us all.
Also its unfair and patheticcly stupid to try and compare the game to a Nintendo Platformer.
I found the game Excellent, Ask people who have purchased it Elite Chaos, I think Nomad Soul did....
Oh and get Splinter Cell aswell.
