I have a geocities Website (http://www.geocities.com/tom_archeruk)
and am just wondering whether it is possible to use a decent forum on it. Has any one got any ideas/ suggestion of how to accomplish this. Or any ideas on what board i should use?

you've only EVER had 2 domains (including viewandplay) Geocities domains are great.

Wrong. I never owned that crapsite, although it was a work of art :-) and I own other domains, now. Also, you're saying that geocities are great? Do they offer mySQL? Do they offer 24 hour support? Do they offer unlimited webspace and unlimited pop accounts? No. Didn't think so.

I think your chances of a forum on Geocities are hovering just above zero.

havn't checked your geocities domain yet, but mysql support is the top stuff, still trying to get my own...

there is a free mysql host out there somewhere, I saw it a while back but I forgot to add it to my favourites!

you could try ezboards, but they cost money, you won't be able to host any type of forums on a domain without php, I remeber a really crap forum on freeservers.com's domains, but they're so crap you might want to go elsewhere.

No MySql support on geocities webdomains, you'll have to get an external one.

I ain't sure about what you get with geocities sites (as I wouldn't touch them with a barge poll) but if you've got mySQL abled, then you could get XMB or phpBB. They're both amazing and they're also free.
