Even more interesting, is a line near the very bottom of the page:
"we were also the only un-official fan site in the world to feature the duet (video) of Britney Spears and Michael Jackson before any network did when the clock hit midnight on New Years Eve 2002"
They must have been one hell of a site to get stuff out that quickly. And now he's lost faith?
Hurray!

I thought that was the worst song on the new album..and isn't that line kinda contradicting your moaning.... :) :P

ARE YOU INSANE?!?!?!? THE MUSIC? WHAT MUSIC? A FAN?!?!?!? JEEZ, OF WHAT? BRITNEY MANAGES TO SUCK AND BLOW AT THE SAME TIME! SHE IS TO MUSIC WHAT JEFFREY ARCHER IS TO POLITICS!

Marketing. Basically all music stars have to project an image that will sell their stuff to the widest audience, because a vast majority of people will buy music because of who its by (and how that person look), not what it is. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Britney fan, but its the music I like first, the person second.
This isn't restricted to pop either. Indi bands have to have their own appearance, as do garage groups, metal, all of them have to project what a public expects.
If Britney sometimes comes across as a bit of an idiot its because her marketing/PR group knows that her look and "vacant smiles" will sell far better than what she herself would say, do and wear if given the choice. Shes what she is because its the only way many will look at any person. Look at other female artists, does Sophie Hawkins, Celine Dion, Vanessa Amore, Shania Twain and such like ever get wide appeal in the younger, music buying, market. Rarely, maybe the occasional single, because they don't concentrate on image, they stick to their songs. Britney, Christina, the late Aaliyah, and others have all been caught up in the music industry and the desire for massive sales that they are no longer themselves, they have been changed by the industry itself.
So yeah, many stars come as idiots, but its not the real person in them, mostly (I'm not sure about Victoira Beckham).

I heard a really amusing mp3 that proves this. Britney's doing a show in Mexico, has a tantrum backstage, but forgets her mic is on: Britney tells a stadium full of Mexicans that 'this is so fupping retarded' a million times over. Still at least she seems to understand herself, eh?
I'd buy an album by this person.
Also people like her shouldn't be allowed to say much more than "buy my single" or "buy my album"
And another thing. I read the other day that someone compared her to Linda McCartney (because of her relationship with Justin Timberhead), but when asked about the comparison she looked blank, smiled and said "Sorry, I'm not that old". Stupid bimbo.

erm...... muppet!
Crossroads is her new film which should be coming out in the cinemas towards the end of the month me thinks!
:)

LOL!
A bit harsh, but I see where your comming from!
