Neds (Townies or whatever you call them) in Glasgow have been trying to smash lightposts and get a high from the neon gas emitted.
Now they're climbing up big poles to smash open lights to get a high that doesn't even exist... no such thing as getting high from neon.
What a bunch of mongs:
a) When the gas reacts with damp or cold air it explodes and could cause serious damage to moron.
b) They can then fall about 15ft and break their face
Morons
It's a sodium ignite in the bulb which blows up
I can just see the mongs climbing up, then falling, breaking their neck and burning their face.
That's a new one, fecking morons.
> Surely neon, being a noble gas, doesn't react with anything?

That's what I was thinking, but that's what it said.
Unless they meant the bits inside light

*giggles manically*
Me and my mates got stopped in town and they started on us and they threatened to shoot us! Lol, freaks.
That would be why they use it in light bulbs :-P
