Not really, the liverpool defence played ghastly football in the first half. All three goals were pointed to be huge mistakes by the defenders generally not reacting. Liverpool gave Basle threee simple chances. Basle gladly took them. If you'd done the same with Achrington, you'd have gone three goals behind.

The UEFA Cup? Bah, Liverpool have to concentrate on the League now, and I have confidence that they can take the Title this year.
And I'd like to see Basle go far, they're a lot better than people seem to think.

Of course, I could be wrong. Apart from those two, Liverpool are winning/will wn the league, so that's always a bonus.

The problem you have, however, is that Liverpool have developed an wonderfully leaky defence, and conceded 3 crap goals against a crap team, and now play for peanuts in the UEFA cup. This is not a problem for me however, my problem was watching the game in the gym trying to desperately leg press 120KGs in fits of hysteria.
I don't think what IB is after is chit-chat. I think he enjoys good old arguments...sorry i mean disscusions.
