"The Getaway?"

It has been ages since I have heard or seen anything about this game, it is expected to be a huge hit and has already been put back from release again and again. Has anyone heard anything new about this game recently? I want to know when it will be out and a bit more about the game other than the stuff that has been around for ages.

Play have it scheduled for release on 29th March. They did have it put down as 30th March a few days ago so they obviously haven't just forgotten about it. Hopefully, it will be out then.

Or we could ask the Getawhen?

I got the new OPS2 mag today, and apparently it's due for release in October. That's 7 months away, and we haven't heard anything much about this game since it was first announced. I hope it does come out this year, but why haven't we heard any more news or pictures ????? Grrr

Personally, I can't wait for this game to reach us, but I am still yet to see ANY pictures, video clips or any sort of media on the game, which suggests that production is either very slow, or has been cancelled. I don't expect it to be very good - probably have sh'te voiceovers and want not, but it COULD be a winner if handled correctly. I hope that whoever is in development keeps this project alive (resurrects it if possible) and we have one helluva game based on one helluva film!

I know a number of smaller projects that sony's UK developers were working on had been canned so that they could all help out with the development of this game. Apparently they have recreated about 60KM of roads from London and it looks very detailed.

Anyone know if the developers (I think it is studio soho or something like that) have a web page?
