Driving Games
Most probably influenced by toy cars in the early years, you like racing your cars when you are young, now you've got a chance to do it and not have the wheel fall off of your favourite car!
FPS or any other shooters
Most probably influenced through games of armies where you go around shooting each other, may also be influenced through playing with action figures and beating each other up.
Fighting
From action figures and wathcing martial arts programs (Power Rangers) and wrestling.
RPG's
My guess is from playing games like houses (mainly girls) or taking part in adventures you make up (Try and go throught the jungle of tree's at the bottom of the garden etc.
Simulations
Lego (Lego rules!), for sure or maybe some other children's toy like Playmobile (Is that it's name?). You like building all of your own stuff and running little towns so you prefer it when playing games.
Strategy
I had the idea for this a while agom, I guess it might be from playing with your army men and having battles with them, maybe, though that's not what I was thinking about before, I'll post it later if I work it out.
Crime Sims
Irn Bru.. erm, I mean hyper-active children who like doing crazy things, i dunno though, my little and big brothers like them and both were rather hyperactive.
Platformers
Of course, who can forget platformers, actually, this is the one I have no idea's about, I love them so much but I can relate to most of the above as well as game playing from the early age of 3, so I have no idea's on it, maybe all of the above?
OK so thats my views on how many of us like different types of games, it may not be true in some cases but it is quite relevant to many of my friends. I also know that I'll have forgotten a genre (I always do) but I'll post it later if I did miss one...
