so what's with the sudden uprise in game interest, resident evil and resident evil:nemesis, house of the dead, dead or alive, tekken, etc (suppose parappa the rappa is next) Has someone told the movie companies, game based films win oscars? They always change it anyway, why are then characters in res evil film named alice and rain? why did they ruin there one chance with final fantasy, not like final fantasy 7/8 didn't have twists or a good storyline? Anyone know any other games-movies due and what do you think
of the current ones, think I prefer books to films like LotR.

A little while ago at nintendo.com, they had a poll asking what the Zelda series should be turned into and the vast majority said a movie, me included. Who knows, maybe Zelda will come out now as well. Elijah Wood has already been Orlando Bloom has already done well with Elf ears, he's probably make quite a convincing Link. Arnold Schwarzengger could play Ganondorf and Alyson Hannigan could play Zelda.

Shadowman could make a very good film indeed, providing it isn't made into a violence-for-the-sake-of-it zombie fest. Obviously Vin Diesel would HAVE to play Mike Le Roi/Shadowman but mind you, I heard they were maiking this about 3 years ago and since then, nothing.

And why they haven't made a film of Metal Gear Solid I don't know. It could be easily be done, and everyone's always saying about how no other game has ever been so close to a film. Why make a film of Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat or Final Fantasy when you could make MGS? They'd better hurry up and make it though cause Kurt Russell's getting on a bit now. :-D

Some films I heard are going to be turned into movies are :
Duke Nukem, Command & conquer, Shadowman, Crazy Taxi, Noctuner (A PC Survival horror game), Max Payne, Crimson Skies ( Another PC game), doom and quake. Those are just some i've heard of, but I don't think certain ones will be made since they've been rumoured to have a movie conversion for years.
