Yeah yeah so Capcom revealed Resident Evil 4... very nice.

Now I am a Resident Evil fan yet with the fact that we have 4 Resident Evil games due for release BEFORE that game (which will be the best) any sorta excitement for it is hardly worth it, Resi 0 is where it is at for the time being.

Yep this post is about the OTHER 4 Project studio 4 are developing.

System selling games, cult classics and there are FOUR OF THEM! One is sure to start a cult following, naturally I believe Viewtiful Joe would be better suited to the GBA but hey just look at them all. An original and revolutionary side scrolling adventure similar to the looks of old classics long forgotten. Project 3 a game that doesn't appear revolutionary but will probably be the king of the genre, Nintendo's premier third person adventure perhaps? Dead Phonix flying idea sounds incredible and may spark a following similar to Jet Set Radio yet the other up coming classic is Killer 7 and I really am intrigued by this.

This really tally's up something for Nintendo, an exclusive Gamecube development house of Capcom that has enough teams to develop 5 games at once... This is as big as Rare! And the company is as clever as Rare... When Capcom claimed they were impressed by the clever things of the Gamecube and the emphasis on fun I was slightly confused as to why we saw Resident Evil. It is brilliant yet nothing clever OR emphasises fun in fact it puts most effort into being scary. These 4 titles make far more sense and despite being all unknown titles they will be known. Look at all the prospects here, we could have on our hands the third party title that will beat metal gear solid and GTA the two 'biggies' Nintendo don't have.

I'm going to dig up more dirt on these titles but these four can go along side Final Fantasy Chronicals, Resident Evil series and the Sonic franchise as some of the biggest 3rd party titles aquired by Nintendo.

So which one sounds good to you?

Suited better to the GBA?

Don't let the 2D gameplay fool you.
Smash Brothers Melee wouldn't work well on a GBA and I get the impression that this wouldn't either, for similar reasons.

The idea around this game is to give you full control around you're character. I expect it'll make full use of analogue controls and use the Gamecube's power to produce sharp graphics and have LOADS of stuff happening at once.

Should be VERY interesting.

They sound good - nice to see Capcom committing themselves more wholeheartedly to Nintendo after the N64 days.

They all stand out to me, Killer 7 and Dead Phonix particulary although some old gamer deep inside me is dying to play viewtiful joe and you just know PO3 being developed by Dino Crisis/Devil may cry/Resident Evil creater shinji mikami.
