In what way do you mean chicken? Because if it is meant to be a modern day chicken, then I'd imagine it would be the egg from which the evolved modern-day chicken would have to have hatched from.

But the question, why does it matter? If you really must know, the chicken came first as it evolved from a dinosaur, but then the dinosaur came from an egg, and so did its parents etc etc until the 1st dinosaur of the family tree was born through evolution from some type of fish thing.

I think the egg to , because other animals laid eggs and very slowly evoled into chinkens.

egg. dinosaurs laid eggs, slowly evolved into velociraptors which then grew feathers and a waddle and wings and still laid eggs. End of discussion

THE CHICKEN here's why:

An alien came down and raped a chicken and chickens originally had live babies but the alien's sperm reacted and so now they have eggs. I'd like to hear someone say that isn't true!
