So they came up with "Globol Operations", a single-player full-game version of Counterstrike you could play offline, complete with story and everything.
With me so far?
And now there's a demo of "Globol Operations", but the demo is "Multiplayer Online".
Excuse me?
Am I missing something here?
An online multiplayer demo of a single-player adaptation of an online multiplayer game.
??????
What am I not seeing here?
Why not just (a wacky idea here folks), play Counterstrike?
One on far left in the town, the other two are along the road, just walk down it from left to right and you'll get it eventually

For all your mission needs
I have to be the most incompetant commander ever, though.
"Send your man in his jeep to pick up more men."
So I do. Click click click, man gets in jeep, drives off towards town.
"I've arrived in the town, sir!"
Click click, tell men to get in jeep.
"Negative."
Hmmm. Click click click.
"Negative."
So I get in a truck, and drive off towards the town.
Unbelievably, I must have managed to click on the exact centre of a house, or something... because when I get there, the man and jeep are stuck sideways in the middle of someone's house.
Helicopter flying? I'm your man. Managed to completely flip the thing over, crashed it about four times before I finally worked out how to land.
Now I'm stuck on a mission where I'm supposed to find three anti-aircraft guns. Can only find two, it's annoying me.
Globol Operations is a single-player version of Counterstrike with a story and all that.
Counterstrike is a baby game, full of people that have to bunny-hop around, use AWP and all manner of hacks because they can't play for real.
Try Wolfenstein or Flashpoint for true online gaming.
This wasn't the game you were on about Goatboy was it??
:o)
Gonna try the C&C renegade demo tonight though - looks like it could be poop.
Shame
