Now this is not all bad in fact a lot is good. Metroid Prime has been delayed till March and some of you may ask why and Belldandy will be screaming like a little boy who just got an action man for christmas. Well it is simple common sense, if the game can't be out in time for christmas then the next market to aim for is the Easter Market the second largest one and so it has been delayed a month. What is cool though is that we will get our first online game early next year! So much for not getting online till 2010 ah CUBE magazine? Sadly Wario's World has been delayed but good thing cause we know nothing about it. Nice to see three massive titles release in that time including the overally big Zelda. Q2 does look good and a squaresoft game released in the same year in europe as the japan release? Kidding right?

Metroid Prime March 03
Resident Evil 0 March 03
Phantasy Star Online Q1
Super Monkeyball 2 Q1
Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc Q1
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Q1
The Legend of Zelda Q2
1080º Avalanche Q2
Wario World Q2
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Q4
True Crime Q2/Q3
Hitman 2: Silent Assassin Q2
Enter The Matrix Q2

It's a sad state of affairs, but unfortunately it happens. Was like that back in the days of the N64. Hardly anyone had em. Everyone had Playstations. Luckily being at uni, on the course i'm on, there's a reasonalbe amount of ppl who have every console.

HA! I wish I knew other people who own GameCubes!
There's no-one else around where I live that I know owns a GameCube, so I'm left alone, on my own.

It's more like I have one friend with a PS2, and one with an X-Box.
Better yet... One with an X-Box, all-others with PS2's!
And only a few who have no consoles and play PC gamers instead.
But still, no-one has a Cube!

Agreed. I was trying to say this in a thread a couple days ago. Before I got the usual "Well, it takes Nintendo longer to get titles released here since they have to translate into other languages schtick". Doesn't Sony nor Microsoft do this then?

I like having a nice variety of titles to choose from and the PAL GC isn't offering this at the moment IMO. Yes, it's arguable that it's still early days in Europe for the GC, but you would've thought Nintendo could've pulled their finger out and at least put something together to intice consumers to the GC cause this Christmas.

Starfox Adventures? Mario Party 4? Sat next to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City it doesn't look too promising does it?

Hurrah ! Someone else who is on about the same thing as me. Nintendo are in need of a serious change...

But Summer 2003? Nah, can't say I've ever bought into Nintendo's European strategy, which is why I opted to import. It does annoy me though, when I see them treating the Euro market like second-rate citizens.

At the end of the day, I'm annoyed for you guys. :) I'd love to see Animal Crossing come out over here, since I think it'd be somewhat of a niche hit here.

Yer, but there's also the matter of choice! I don't want to be spoon fed my games. I want a decent selection and then the choice to choose what I want!

Alright for us, but the little kids who see the new shiny PS2 games on the shelves ain't gonna be swade towards the Cube! Looks like Nintendo have screwed up Europe ONCE AGAIN!

Unless you read mags n stuff, the way you hear about console and which to buy etc, is from your mates. You've got two mates, ones got a PS2, ones got a Cube. You ask both which to get.

PS2 mate "Well there's loads of games to chose from! Loads coming out at christmas. Some may be cak, but there's likly to be a couple good ones in there somewhere."

Cube mate "Well there's some good games out at the moment. And by next 'SUMMER' there should be a few more good games out!"

hmmm....

I suppose one thing to bear in mind is that, whilst a big rush of games would be nice, there's the slight matter of buying them all...
