"GTA 3 is coming to the cube. Read This...."

Hi Again,

The rumors about GTA3 are up in the air again!

Cube-Europe have just posted an article stating that in the NGC magazine (issue 65 on page 14) they have said that GTA 3 will be released on the cube!

"As if Acclaim's Burnout and Activision's Spy Hunter weren't enough, a US mag has confirmed that the PS2's superb criminal-em-up Grand Theft Auto III will be car jacking and cop blasting its way to Gamecube in autumn. Choice!"

it's still not official yet tho!

I was just sayoing that if he wanted those games so much he should buy a PS2 instead of a gamecube. But his post below says he's doing it through loaylty, which I can understand :-D

That is a fair point. I think you may actually be right.

But it would be nice, and it is still possible.

If the XBOX can have it, why can't we! lol

NGC are talking about the old rumours that surfaced a few months back. Since then, Rockstar have denied it.

Paper magazines are always a month or two behind internet ones...

The reason why I'm not buying a PS2 is because I prefer to play Nintendo consoles. What I meant by that was the fact that I won't buy the games unless they come to the cube. If they don't arrive, I don't care. They are just games I want to see come to nintendo, I ain't desperate for them.

After buying a PSX, I found that I didn't play it as much as my N64 and the gameplay wasn't as good as nintendo's (personal thought, not slagging it off).

This time around, I am only buying the one console with the best range of games and the one that will bring me the most in terms of quality and entertainment. This is why I have chosen Gamecube.

I've bought all the Nintendo consoles since the NES and will continue to stick with them as I know that when I spend my money, I am going to get my moneys worth and more.

Thats why I'm not spending money on a PS2, cos I can get more games for my cube!

I would never believe any magazine except edge. 2 facts -

1) Special Reserve reviews are designed to make you buy a game, regardless of how good it is.

2) Video Game magazines just put useless news and information in their minor columns to fill space out becuase they assume the dumb readers dont take it in anyway.

When we have sites like IGN, Planetgamecube and cloudchaser available for free on the web we shouldnt be listening to out of date magazines.

If gta3 comes out this autumn that is a pathetic move by rockstar to bring out a year odl game already available on ps2 and pc. However, GTA Miami may well come out.

I wouldn't get too excited about this just yet, it's one of those rumours that keeps on coming back, but until we hear something official, don't bet on it.

They will denie it for a while I think.

We'll have to wait and see, as I said before, it's not been confirmed so don't take it as the gospel truth.

Think of it this way though, It will be coming to the Xbox, it's on the PS2, Nintendo have been said to be easy to develop for, therefore...easy money for rockstar games.

We will have to wait and see!

Oh yeah, sorry just checked my mag now...

Still, Rockstar have denied it a few times since that mag was printed...
