"Why are GameCubes only going to be coloured Purple and Black in Europe?"

I am quite disappointed that GameCube consoles are only going to be launched in Black and Purple. I read this disturbing piece of news in Nintendo Official Magazine. This may not seem a big deal, but i quite like the colour of my consoles. The silver looked quite sleek, as did gold, and my brother and i took about a day deciding which colour to get (we settled on silver).

Could anyone please tell me if this rumour really is true for i am going to be buying a GameCube on release (hopefully)!

The Q (Panasonic's GameCube) wont be released in America or Europe, and the other 3 colours: Gold, Silver and Pink, haven't been released anywhere, and may not ever.

Well, I thought Black and Purple at release then later came orange and all the other colours. And the Pansonic one comes later I think, but im probably wrong :o)

The PS2 and X-Box were only released in black. The Gamecube is released in black and purple, and your still complaining! There's no pleasing some people!

Mate, if that is disturbing news then I would start worrying!! Taking a day to decide a colour is also quite an unusual statistic. My wife's a doctor if you want to make an appointment!

It's not a rumour, it's official.

America and Japan only had 2 release colours, however Japan have now got Orange!

Still, it's not the colour of the console that matters, it's the quality.
