...being woken up at 1.15am by the fire alarm going off?

Evacuating the building for a quarter of an hour in the pouring rain whilst you wait for the 'OK' to go back in.

Then having to do the same thing TWICE IN HALF AN HOUR the next morning?

We've had three false alarms in a little over nine hours at the same halls of residence - yet there are only around forty people who live here. I'm not happy. That makes the seventh false alarm this term - four of which have been set of by the SAME BLOODY PERSON. How is that possible? How can anyone conceivably be that stupid, yet get to university?

This. Is. Ridiculous.

Reminds me of a funny story my dad told me.
One of his mates is a joiner and the lads upstairs from him were always making noise and disturbing most of the folk in the flats around them. One night the joiner guy went up and used the silicon stuff used around windows etc and firmly stuck the door in place.
Blokes couldn't get out and had to get the fire brigade round to smash down the door.

I think Venom fancies her

That's how he knew it was set off by steam from the shower... he was peeping on her.

there is this woman at my work who is living proof that intellegence is no substitute for common sense. She is on the board of mensa, yet she is as thick as planks.

last week she asked me to re-word a paragraph for her because she wasn't sure about the one she had done, so i dictated to her a paragraph. she srote it down, and then made me type it up and print it off so she could read it to someone on the phone.

in the middle of this, my mobile went off, and she says "can you not do that later, I'm in a hurry for this"

if you're in a hurry, woman, should i really be typing this up?

i really wanna slap this woman.

Nah, brunette actually.

May well be a gifted academic for all I know, but has all the common sense of a lemming.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
