Over the years I have slowly watched Saturday morning tele lose it's charm and appeal. It started off in the eighties. I fondly remember sitting there, watching Denver the Last Dinosaur, Rude Dog and the Dweebs and Motormouth with Green Gilbert. Then came Going Live - Philip Schofield and Sarah Greene rocked! And they both went on to become stables of after school watching - Philip in his broom cupboard and Sarah Greene doing Newsround. Christ man, she even did Ghostwatch! Those were real Saturday morning celebs. Pat Sharp even had his super-mullet when he was hosting Motormouth.

Now it's a sorry state of affairs. Ant & Dec were mildy amusing on SM:TV, but only because they were clueless and mucked up all the time. Now they have losers from Hollyoaks and Big Brother and Cat Deeley. BBC1 aren't much better either. That 'band' who do the theme tune and the phone number jingle must really think they rock. Only someone who's so full of themselves could do that without cringing. Whatever happened to renegade phoneins where people caned Mat Bianco and Five Star? Those were the days. Now all the calls are screened properly, just to make sure they won't say bad things about Blue or Westlife.

I wish I had stayed in bed this morning and not had the misfortune of seeing batty-boy Brian (of Big Brother fame) sitting on his back, lifting his legs in the air and having someone in sound effects make a farting noise. Oh how fuuny Brian, seeing your fudge tunnel, knowing what's been up there and hearing noises come from it - I'm sure the children (and their parents) wanted to see that. Then there's Cat Deeley's smutty little innuendos at Finn.

One thing that did make me laugh was the 'Britney Spears Karaoke' on the Saturday Morning Show. Somehow a little boy with a really deep voice managed to get in the final. This is gonna be great, he dances and everything. "Sometimes I run, sometmes I hide" *makes fan motion over face to simulate hiding*. It was great, really made me laugh - but it wasn't intended. The final's on 30th March, everyone vote for him please.

Its been a while since i last watched any saturday morning TV on normal Tele channels. The last thing i use to watch was Live and Kicking with Zoe Ball and Jamie T. That wasnt all that bad, but they soon left and the show was doomed, and ITV really had nothing all that good to offer.

I ended up getting Sky in my house, and found the perfect morning show...Soccer AM. This is surely the best programme on TV between 9am and 12pm. The jokes are great and its very entertaining, and not to mention the show is based on football.

Andi Peters is/was the head of entertainment on Channel 4. The man is God. I wonder if Ed the Duck sits on his desk at C4?

There is actually an 8am on Saturday...

I got up, went to library and studied and strutted my stuff around the females... bought some music, got harrassed off old people...

Actually old people are ignorant and the most racist people around...

Anyway now I'm tired

The saturday show was Live and Kicking when Andi Peters and Emma (what's her name again) were on.

It was great and funny, unlike the tripe they put on now!
