I think that you could even buy it in January. I think test drive is just really the same as the retail, but you have to buy it from the MS website. Once it goes retail you could walk into a games shop and buy it.

I wonder if they have your name down already for a test drive kit?

Yeah I clicked on that a week or so ago and it didn't lead anywhere. Not a sad tactic on your part mate - I'm checking all the time too - we'll have to do a team effort to make sure we both get on. ;-))

Savatt, I found the Testdrive FAQ correct URL - though you probably have found it yourself anyway - posted it in another topic - and I'm checking the Xbox.com/uk site evry morning before work, and at night as well. I'm hoping MS make it clearer this week how it's going to go down about Testdrive.

Hopefully it own't be a limited offer and there will be plenty of kits available, but, just in case, I shall be sitting on the net, from about 11:59PM on the 29th, on the site, hitting refresh.....yes it is a sad tactic, but if no more info is released then it's a necessary one.... :(

Maybe MS will send an email, but its best to go to the site. There is nothing to download for MechAssault yet. There probably wont be anything for a while yet.
