first i got this idea from a mag and thought what your teams would be heres mine

goalie--Master Chief (To save my team like he saved the world).
* - Lara Croft (To attract the oponents team players).
* - Sonic (He would be fastist on the feild and easily get the goals in ).
* - Guy from GTA3 (Well i think hes more dangeruos than vice city guy but he would be on my team cos he can be the fowler).
* - Kane (Well he would scare the oponent off).
* - Ken ( No reson but i like him more than ryu).
* -Jin ( He's cool).
* - Charizard (Well hes big fat and nasty what a mix).
* -Wario ( I dont like mario ).
* - Bounty Hunter ( He looks good in star wars ).
* - Wakka ( Wakka is in sport so he would be good ).

SO now its your turn it can have any game star in it and tell me why you choose him.

goalie: doshin the giant.
being a giant yellow person more or less qualifies you to be a GK

strikers: Jashin, Knuckles, and venom
Jashin being ale to fly and shoot fire stuff would be good for mauling the opposite team, knuckes cos' he's well 'ard, and would you try to tackle venom?

defenders: Diddy kong, monster ock, a necromancer from diablo, and Falco Lombardi.

diddy kong is quite nippy and suchlike, monster ock from SPM1 would kick arsse, a necromancer could use his army of the dead to slowly shuffle towards the opponents and bite their legs off, and falco is well fast and overly confident.

manager: Peppy the Hare

no chance of him being distracted with thoughts of threesomes with Ulrika and Nancy...

I entered that and posted it on here.

Dalslim and Raiden were on my team, Dalslim with his long defender's legs tackling and Raiden going up and down the wing, along with Spyro (who can fly). My keeper was SSBM's big hand and up front I had Snake and James Bond to sneak into the box :-D

I remember, it was a competition in which the prize was all three next gen consoles, plus Red Card soccer for each of them

That's who I was going to send in to gamesmaster as a goalie! and Rayden was my other winger.... it's beginning to come back to me

i like the crash dummie thats a good one

Here's my team:

Goalie: Dhalsim
There's no shot this guy won't reach, and if he's caught out of position his teleportation skills will prove invaluable.

Left Back: Bloke from doom
Hard as nails, very fast and can run for hours without tiring. I would make him a center back, but he can't jump...

Right Back:
Raiden. Again, teleportation will ensure he's not caught out of position, and being a god I suspect he can be quite good at football if he puts his mind to it.

Center Defence: Monkey from Black and white.
Huge and powerful, but still agile enough for the job.

Center Defence: Kirby
Will certainly hoover up any loose balls.

Left Mid: Sonic
He can be fairly quick down the wing...

Right Mid: Knuckles
Also a nippy winger. Have to keep the team balanced, after all :)

Center Mid: Abe
The mukodon's ability to possess opponents could prove very useful...

Center Mid: David Beckham form David Beckham Soccer
Need someone with guaranteed ball skills, after all :)

Forward: Dynamite Heddy
This guy will get a header on any cross you could care to put in.

Forward: Crash test dummy.
Runs into the box, and falls apart. Hello free penalty!
