Definition of Box: A container typically constructed with four sides perpendicular to the base and often having a lid.
As it doesn't had a lid.
If they can't get the box bit right, how the hell can the be expected to get the, er, X bit right.
Have you seen the size of the power supply inside the Xbox? Massive! It takes up about a quarter of the inside of the case.
Think: the PS2 is half the size of the Xbox, and the PS2 itself is half empty with the expansion bay, right? So the power supply must be fairly small.
Check out these pics and note the size of the power unit!

Turn it on and the houses on your street will all go dark! :-)
In some ways I still think of an X-Box as an X-shaped cardboard box.
Why?
Well just like a Cardboard box the X-Box is large and bulky.
It's also got plenty of space inside it, 8-Gigabytes of space to be precise.
Of Course your everyday Cardboard Box doesn't have the ability for online gaming. Which if I may say so is a huge step for mankind.
This cardboard box is top of the range.
Ok it may be a bit on the large side but who cares? It's the gameplay I am after.
It can do just about everything, Apart from making the tea, which is a great pity because if the X-box could make the tea then everyone would want one.
Even though the X-box can't make the tea it can still make you very pleased indeed.
Ok so it's not an attractive cardboard box but the graphics are certainly attractive.
Take the much-anticipated Halo for example.
Halo is perfect in almost everyway.
From the Gameplay to the graphics Halo will have you slobbering all over your telly.
By the time you've finished playing it and decide to lay down your X-box controller and press the power off button, (If you can unstick yourself from the telly that is) you should find a puddle of drool on the floor at the foot of the telly. That would probably give your parent(s) a tough clean up job, or you, if you're brave enough.
The X-box is the most anticipated console of all time and it's almost upon us.
In seven days time games retailers will be rubbing their hands with glee when they see us gamers frantically diving into their shops demanding an X-box.
All this hype from a cardboard Box?
The X-Box ain't exactly your average cardboard box (As I have said before) because it's got more utilities than a Swiss army knife. Or if you like you could call the X-box a Swiss army box.
The X-box will be hard to get used to because gamers are so used to Sony dominating the games market.
I'm sure that within the first few months of its release the X-box will be fighting it's way to the top of the games market.
Maybe it won't need to fight its way to the top. It might just decide to have a merry saunter to the top.
It can easily outperform other consoles by a country mile.
Even before it's release the X-box is having an unusual amount of hype surrounding it.
Its already been released in America and is proving to be a success.
Will it be a success here?
I sure hope so.
By the sounds of things the X-box will definitely be a success.
I don't know about you but I am certainly looking forward to it's release.
Here's to Microsoft!
Thanks for reading!!!
So if they DON'T have lids, then they are open topped.
The XBOX has a COVER not a LID.
Therefore it's not a Box.
See?
Box's OFTEN have lids. That doesn't mean there aren't boxes without lids.
So, the X-Box is still a box. With or without lid.
Definiton of LID: Sumfink wot u can open + close.
Which you can't do with the XBox, therefore it doesn't have a lid.
If a box doesn't have a lid, then it is open topped. Which the XBox isn't, therefore, it's not a box.
Capiche?
:-D

you're not too smart YH:)
you contradict yourself... you say that boxes OFTEN have lids, which means that a box doesnt NEED to have a lid...
Aftrer all, you don't expect the word 'constrain' to have anything to do with 'rain', do you?
