Point and click fans everywhere will be smug to realise this is being released soon.

Good news: It's on PC

Bad News: It's also on PS2 and X-Box. Consoles have no mouse, therefore point and clicks are useless on them.

Good news: It's scheduled for a 2002 release.

Bad news: It's 3D

Dunno about this. It's obviously a PC game, but it's 3D and therefore probably crap. I might go replay Broken Sword 1 and 2.

Now come on, that was lazy. It would have been ten times better if you had said:

"I'm playing with his Solid Snake."

But OH no... you just try and finish the joke quickly and miss out on a great pun... :0)

Yup, it's actually being developed, but by an outside compnay. Nothing to do with Lucasarts this time. But Sam and Max aren't their characters anyway... that'll be Steve Purcell's, who made the excellent, excellent characters for a comic.

(however, Ive also heard that the new Lara Croft game is released later this month (21st?) so its not all good?)

Oh good God, already? That's the first I'd heard of it.

Yup. Grown men across the country will be playing with a mullet wearing smoking man, whose nickname just happens to be "Snake".

Make up your own minds on that one.

I WOULD be playing Freespace 2 now, but I just realised I haven't installled it... and it's a BIG game.
