Here you can write your own views of StarFox Adventures. In my opinion it is a good game. The graphics are good excpecialy Fox's fur. The music is alot like Jet Force Gemini music and it is very atmospheric. The only bad thing I have to say about this game it is too easy and does not last long. I also like Tricky because he's like a pet and you have to feed him with GrubTubs also it's fun playing ball with him. You will also notice that there is a framerate issue in certain areas this is probably where the game loads. The bosses are huge and are very enjoyable to fight.

Please write your own comments and please write if you dissagree with what I said above.

Exactly. for nine months it would have been acceptable.

But for five years to make a 15 hour game with no innovations or original ideas is just criminal.

Already on the way. Starfox Armada is being developed by Namco, apperently lots of dogfighting in this one :D

Seeing as I have never played the game, this clearly puts me in a perfect position to judge it...

The fact of the matter is that when Ninty give Rare one of their biggest franchises, and 5 years to work on it, you expect almost revolutionary gameplay, with innovative concepts and a tightly knit gameplay ethic.

Simply by the sheer amount of disagreement over the game it's clear that Rare have not hit the high expectations that we expect. Without having played the game I can tell you that the combat isn't well thought out (as one edge columist points out, the lack of ability to change who you lock onto does not matter: enemies attack one by one anyway!). The puzzle elements really don't seem to have developed any new ideas, and the adventure element is uninspiring (no one has yet to say that the replay value and bonuses are very good).

Personally, I'm just hoping for a proper space-based shooting version of the game...

I've played 5 hours of the gam now and I have to say my initial impressions of the game are misleading - although it's still too linear in feel, and liberally copies off Zelda (the "open hands whilst finding a new item" sequence being the most obvious), it's fantastic to play.
