Anybody on the browser game Travian? It's a free online game and basically you turn a small little oasis into the capital of your kingdom - building resource fields, warehouses, barracks etc. You can even form alliances and rage out war with other players.

I'm already part of one of the alliances (90th in the game) and have a lot of power withing (Head Diplomat), so anybody thinking of joining, start up in the south west region of server 4 on the .co.uk version of the site (click)

Just thought it would be a bit of fun we could all take part in. If you do decide to join, just note down your coordinates and name in this thread.

Name hippyman (s4)
Coordinates (-36,-127)

Name Bob_The_Moose
Coords (1, 49) on S5

I would say 200 Imperian is reasonable for a start. Actually that would take me a bit longer than i thought.
It depends on who you're attacking. Best to use a scout and see what they've got.

Hippy, is there any clans you want to spy on? My clan leader has quit so i'm looking to join another. I'd have no problem leaking anything discussed on their forums.

This is starting to get interesting now. I could have a decent sized army within 24-48 hours. I wont be attacking anyone from Freeola.

It's worth building one up to level 10 as then you can train settlers and found a new village.

I've got mine up to 10 but you need about 6000 of each resource to make 1 settler and you need 3 for a new village, however once you found a new village you can send resources from your original one over to it to build it up quicker.

Currently I'm carrying on building up my resource production and also creating some legionnaires incase I get attacked again.

Might also go and do a bit of plundering myself :)

If you click on your residence and on the culture points text in green you'll see how many a day you're making.

You need 2000 to found a new village.

To get them you need to build buildings to a higher level - the higher the level, the more culture points they earn you.

I'm up to 99 culture points a day and have just gone past 1900. My residence is level 10 but yes I need to make settlers etc now which will take a week or so I expect.

200/200/183/112 for me.

But virtually all my resources are just going back into upgrading my resource fields at the moment.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Easy and free service!
I think it's fab that you provide an easy-to-follow service, and even better that it's free...!
