Why is everyone going on about MGS2, what is it about this game? i ve never played any of the games or read any reviews yet.

well me and my mates have had a PS2 since release date maybe thats why

I have a PS2 card in slot 1 and a PSX card in slot 2 and all my games save with no problems at all wether I play PS2 or PSX games.

Maybe all of your friends have dodgy PS2's or cards !!

Well you have a duff PS2, game or card then.

Well at least he'll get the feel for the game, if he likes it then he can go out and buy MGS2 or rent it first.

I thought it was a good idea, oh and are you really worried about the extra bits at the end?

Err - why cant you save it ? - You shove a PSX memory card in and it saves - no problem..

the only problem with doing this is that you cant save it after you've completed it, so you cant get the extras.

they are going on about it because it will probablky be the best game ever.

Excellent idea - good,cheap way to get into the story and see if you would like to shell out the extra notes for the later game.

You could also pick up the PSx version, called spookily enough Metal Gear Solid.

Run it through your PS2 with a PSx memory card and experience the......errr......Metal Gear Solid experience ;D
