Why is everyone going on about MGS2, what is it about this game? i ve never played any of the games or read any reviews yet.

how do you win so many GAD's?
its just MGS that me and my friends have had a problem with, no other PS2 game.

Yeah but mine is a launch day console too and it still works on mine...
If you got your cards from the same place it might just have been a duff set, or even there older ones and so dont work with PS2.

and if you cant save it at the end you cant get the stealth suit, bandanna etc.
I've got exactly the same, my PSx memory card is full of FF9 saves and have never had any problem accessing them.
Alright, my PS2 doesn't read the memory card but that's not a problem.
