"Safer Sex Ball"

That title caught your attention, didn't it?

Anyway, that's what's going on at Exeter Uni this Monday. The concept is that about three thousand students cram into a few of the buildings on campus, wearing stupidly provocative clothing, in some kind of attempt to promote Safer Sex. The theme of this years Ball is the Seven Deadly Sins - gluttony, lust, sloth, etc.

I realise that this is going straight over the heads of some of you younger ones out there, who will now be off looking for an XBox thread to diss. Meanwhile, the slightly older ones might now have taken a quick trip to the bathroom, so they'll be gone too.

So... those of you still around. What do you all think I should wear?

All suggestions will be considered (but not necessarily for very long).

Do you want to borrow the Porntrooper helmet?

I have three ideas at the moment.

Most of my friends are going as Mafia. Black suit, black shirts, black hat and white tie. That's my last resort, as I hate wearing suits, and it seems rather a dull way to dress, considering what everyone else will be wearing (or won't be wearing).

A cowboy is a possible idea. Ten gallon hat, white tousers or jeans with a big belt buckle, and a gun or two. I'd either go topless or with an unbuttoned waistcoat, I reckon.

The other idea is to go as Sloth. Now... the colour of sloth is light blue, the animal is a goat, and the supposed punishment in hell is to be thrown into a pit of snakes, so there's plenty of scope to dress up here. Excellent for attention grabbing. Most likely I'd wear light blue jeans, probably with a snake dangling around my neck, or a cultist style goat mask. Provides excellent scope to make 'snake' jokes.

What d'you reckon to these ideas? Or if you have any other, I'd like to hear them too.

I'm off into town later to see what there is around, and I'll go back in at the weekend to buy my stuff. Should be a lot of fun on Monday...
