Yes, unfortunately, due to the PS2's comparitive lack in power, the loading times are frequent and long. Other than that minor error though (there are others, mind - such as constant slowdown), it's an immersive game that'll keep you hooked and entertained from start to finish.
I have heard Deus EX is a great game that includes RPG elements along with an FPS style game. Apparently you can take many different routes towards completing a level which adds to the length of the game. But when reading reviwes of it i found that there are sometimes long loading times in the middle of levels. But apart from that it sound great and i am planning on getting it in the near futre.
