Lots of people like to play games. Whether it's football or racing, gaming has certainly become popular in the last couple of years, and something nearly everyone has had a go at. But what about those that haven't ventured into gaming yet? No, I'm not talking about the old pensioners. I am on about the consoles themselves! When was the last time you saw your Game Cube playing Burnout, or your XBox playing Halo? Never, unless you were under the heavy influence of alcohol. But I ‘did’ see my PS2 playing on another PS2, and I wasn't drunk in the slightest. You see, I was at my friends with my PS2 ready to play GT3 via i-link. We both went out of the room for a minute, and when we came back, we couldn't believe what we saw. My PS2 was actually playing on my friends PS2 (In a perfectly child friendly manner). It was using both of its Dual Shocks as hands, and was going through my mate’s game collection like there was no tomorrow. This is what I observed.

**PS2 plays Resident Evil Code Veronica X**

After grabbing the controller with both, erm, controllers, the game began. Just seconds into the zombie fest, the pads/hands were already vibrating in fear. A few minutes past and the panic was growing. Suddenly, as a licker jumped onto the screen, the PS2's disk tray flew wide open and let out a shrill scream. The terror was too much, and the PS2 decided to move onto something a bit less scary. Although what it played next could be classed as scary, depending on how you look at it.

**PS2 plays Dancing Stage Euromix**

The PS2 grabbed my mates dance mat, and hopped onto the centre. I couldn't work out which was funnier; the thought of a PS2 jumping around on a mat, or the fact that my mate actually owned a dance mat. Either way, what I saw next was unbelievable. The PS2 chose 'Video killed the Radio Star' and prepared to strut its stuff. The song started and the PS2 began to jump from arrow to arrow. Both of its lights were blinking to the beat, and as the tempo got higher the PS2 began to swing its Dual Shocks around violently. The most amazing thing though was the fact that it got all perfects. Even a girl couldn't do that.

**PS2 plays Burnout 2**

With both Dual shocks grasping the Logitec Driving Force Wheel, it was time for a session on Burnout 2. The PS2 was stood on the pedals and the car screeched off the line. The lights on the PS2 seemed to be flashing with joy, and the disk tray was slightly opened like a menacing grin. Not once did the PS2 crash (The car, not 'crashed' as in needing to be reset) thanks to ultra fast reactions. As the car past the line in 1st place, the PS2 pumped its Dual Shocks into the air in triumph.

The PS2 playing on the PS2 is something I never thought I would see. Not only is it better at gaming than anything else in existence, it also seems to enjoy it too. So if you own more than one games machine, and you come home one day to find all your Gran Turismo track records beaten, then bear this discovery in mind.

Thanks for Reading,
Nath.

Well thanks you three. I would have made it longer, but you really don't want to know what happened when it played DOA3. :^)

Asher seems to win it all the time! And I don't see why this shouldn't win, I didn't see anything better posted yesterday. Still, you can't count on anything in the weird and wonderful world of GAD. I thought most of my previous attempts were better than the ones that won, but if it was left up to me I would of course win everyday. :)

So what? Just because no one saw the thread or had nothing to say doesn't mean it was bad. I started a topic that didn't get any replies until it won GAD.

Definitely a GAD contender. Slightly strange at the beginning, though. I thought you actually meant it had started playing the game at first, like some sort of rolling demo, but actually being played.
