…But I wanna see, really I do.

I wanna see good keeper A.I. in football games. Keepers that don’t jump half the length of the pitch after your opponent has scored. Keepers that react so quickly they’re almost a blur. Keepers that scramble around, trying to retrieve the precious ball.

I wanna see good manual keeper controls in football games. Controls that let you tell your defenders what to do. Controls that let you position the wall just in the right place. Controls that let you dive wherever you want, even when you’re in control of the ball to make saves look that bit more dramatic.

I wanna see more imaginative guns in First Person Shooters. Guns that blast beams that freeze your opponent. Guns that create a barrier in front of you. Guns that paralyse one of your opponents buttons. Guns that spray deadly gas at your foe.

I wanna see a game dedicated to created your own story mode. A game with facilities like TimeSplitters 2, but with more memory space and more items. A game with so many tile sets they’ll be coming out of your ears. A game with so many different enemies that you could have a huge room full to the brim of them. A game that lets you create mini games and challenges.

I wanna see games with loads of different genres in them, but so it doesn’t spoil the game. A game with racing levels, trick levels and collecting levels. A game with first person shooting action while moving around, and you have to change between manual and auto drive to find secrets.

I wanna see really good plots that draw you in. Plots that are so good it’s worthy of a movie, without being a movie. Plots that you follow even when playing the game, not just within cut scenes. Plots that keep you wondering what’s gonna happen next until the next morning. Plots that let you feel the characters emotions.

I wanna see a game with pathetic graphics to outsell all the other 3D games. A game that focuses entirely on gameplay. A game that has no graphical flair. A game that proves games don’t have to look good to play well.

I wanna see a game without clichés scare me half to death. A game that’s set in the daytime but keeps it’s creepy atmosphere. A game that’s so ‘happy’, it’s twisted and you know something’s wrong. A game that plays with your mind more than Eternal Darkness, without using sanity effects.

I wanna see games where you play the part of a character before he has to become to a hero. Games where you simply have to get used the characters life before taking the real action. A game that lets you get used to the controls before you go into some kind of hell dimension. A game that starts off normal.

I wanna see a brand new genre. A genre that isn’t even slightly like another one. A genre that hasn’t even crossed your mind before. A genre that’s as new as a new colour.

I wanna see good games for children. Games that haven’t got terrible controls. Games that don’t use childhood icons to sell games. Games that are hard, even for grown ups, so the children will be playing it for years. Games that are designed for children and not designed for being sold to children.

I’m blind, but please help see. Please, won’t ya’ help me?
