Over the last few days I have received renewal E mails from Freeola about domains that were bought and are currently hosted here.

This is normally fine 'but' the renewal I received today was for a domain I bought in JUNE - this year - 3 months ago !!!.

I think that sometime within the next 9 months I would have noticed it is showing as requiring renewal - whilst using my control panel.

Thanks Freeola, but a bit less notice please, 3 months is adequate 9 months is a tad ambitious.

Are you sure it's not a warning about "dodgy dealings"?
I've just received an email for a domain that expires next May.

It reads:

Dear Customer,
The domain below was registered at GetDotted.com. You don't need to renew it yet, but as it nears expiry, please beware of disreputable companies contacting you about the renewal...


It's not an actual renewal reminder just a warning message.
