ST, mail.

Edit: Go with the second one. I fiddled with the EQ and added a light sprinkling of chorus to the clean guitar. It would have been better if I'd sorted out a better tone before I recorded but meh. I'm just playing around :p

omg... this morning, I got up and I put my dressing gown on, went down for some breakfast. Anyway, I got back upstairs and there was this smell I kept smelling every so often. Turned out, on the sleeve, there was this weird sticky-jelly like stuff with kind of a red/orange/brown tinge to it. Well, I don't know what the hell it was but it smelled awful. So I got rid of it and thought no more about it.

Now, I went downstairs for my dinner and came back up a little while ago and ever since, I keep being able to smell this thing again. Well, I've just realised, on my sleeve, I have this stuff AGAIN, and I don't know WTF it is or where it's come from or anything.

Lucky you, I've got general chat. It used to be the Nintendo forum, must sort that out.

Thank you :)

Well I know my other stuff jumps around a lot but I enjoy music that does that, you've probably never heard of them but there's a melodic death metal band called Opeth who switch between really aggressive stuff and soft melodic acoustic passages mid song. They're also very progressive and they don't stick to traditional song formats and they're happy to let a song switch directions several times. They cover more ground per song than a lot of bands do in a full album. And I think it's awesome and since I've really got into them I've been writing stuff of a similar style.

You should totally check them out, by the way. They're slightly better musicians than me though.

I know it takes some getting used to but I feel it offers a lot more scope for creativity if you're not confining yourself with just one idea for a song. Which is ultimately what it's about. Sometimes you feel it's best it's best to stay with one idea, but other times you want to let it move on and progress into something different.

Sounds like Bob has another fan. I'll listen to it after dinner. Keep poking me 'til I do otherwise.

Ok, I'm not really very good at reviewing music but I do know that I liked it. Out of the pieces that I've listened, which is all of them except Rarrrggh, Wierdass Harmonies is clearly the best. It feels like it has more of set style throughout whereas the others had odd changes at various points. It's also just better music, like I said, the first track suited Sonic the Hedgehog but 'WaH' can be listened to without thinking such things. In conclusion, c'est très bonne.
