I agree i suppose, i just didnt totally understand what the poster was trying to achieve with this. Its not the sort of thing you just make a topic about it is? I felt he was attacking the forum to some extent, maybe a funny thing to think, but else could it be? Is it just that he was point it out? If so, i was just giving my opinion that the whole thing was....(sorry Vice)......pointless.

Yeh, but if you read our replies, you`ll see that we mentioned that many posts seemed to get deleted. The forum only goes back as far as early 2002, and yet there were thousands of posts in 2001 and 2000. This means that the figures shown in the chat forum listing *could* be wrong (though its not necessarily true I admit). Basically, the LT has 2/3 of the posts in the current list, but probably a lot less when you consider all the posts from all time in the PS2 forum.

I say it again, does it really matter, after all its just a forum. And if its true, then that thread is more than doing its job.

That appears to be as far back as it goes... and those were posted in 2002. I seem to remember there being a world before 2002, so I have a feeling many have gone walkies. I remember before the oldest ones just had no replies, now there is just a cut off with no topics prior to that date. Sensible really, but it also means the stat is wrong.

I was looking in the archives for a long time last night too, after an hours looking over some very old stuff i wasnt anywhere near the beggining of the archive section. Theres so much of it.
