Get your eyes checked then, because I could say the X-Box could be used as a building block. At least then, it'd have some use.

You can get a PC for £500.00 upwards, and that'll play your games and enable you to do so much more, and it's a lot more powerful than the X-Box. Economics? Let's see. In today's age, nearly everyone has or needs a PC. Now what's the point in dishing out an extra £155.00 for something that already does the job?

It's not an advantage in my opinion. Because consoles are becoming more and more like PC's, the price is going up and up. DVD players, harddrives, built in modems needlessly up the price to something un-affordable. Nintendo give you the option. Want a DVD? Buy the add-on. Want to go on the net? Buy the add-on? Want to just play games? Don't spend any extra cash, then, like you'd do with the X-Box.

You must be one of the lucky ones then. I'm on my second PS2 now, after having to take it back due to faults.

You can probably do that onto a memory card, and plus, I'd rather have a decent, finished game than one you've got to pay to go online and download for. Seems a bit of a scam to me.

> xbox is the most powerful console and has the best graphics

Not necessarily. There are things that the GameCube can do so much better than the X-Box (heat hazes, water effects, etc) thanks to it's Gekko chip, and it can also 'push more polygons', according to totalgames.net.

Correction, the X-Box can play X-Box versions of powerful PC titles, and yes, the GameCube could play such games.

> xbox has halo and halo 2 plus perfect dark 2

So they've got a few decent first person shooters, who cares? The GameCube has Die Hard: Vendetta, Metroid Prime plus the best versions of Medal Of Honour: Frontline and Timesplitters 2. FPS aren't exactly the Cube's main area (it excells in innovative, original and fun games) but they're there, and they're real quality.

> and they have done a deal with sega and rare

SEGA? That seems unlikely, now they're talking about making most of their games multi-format, or being bought out by Nintendo. Plus, Nintendo are rumoured to be doing a deal with CAPCOM, too, and they're much bigger than Rare.

> gamecube has kiddy games mainly apart from resisdent evil

Kiddy games? How about the entire Resident Evil series, Eternal Darkness, Timesplitters 2, Die Hard: Vendetta, Medal Of Honour: Frontline, Bloody Roar Extreme, Metroid Prime, Splinter Cell and many more adult orientated games? Plus, the GameCube's games aren't for children, they're for everyone, something some companies are too afraid to do.

> they have animal crossing

A brilliantly innovative, original and fun game - what's your point?

> mario party 4

A great multiplayer bash for the whole family.

> mario sunshine

The best platformer ever made. I still don't see your point. Just because they don't have blood or gore, that makes them kiddy? That's just naive.

> why have little kiddy games when you can have these

Ok, I'll match each game with a GameCube equivalent, shall I? Then we'll see who's kiddy.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter

Metroid Prime.

Super Mario Sunshine

Lost Kingdoms

Now that was a really poor post, moh_fan.

You've got to be joking! In my time of owning both a PS2 and GameCube, Sony's console has crashed on me many, many (so many it's countless) times. And as for the GC? None whatsoever. It's because Sony rushed the PS2 out, unfortunately.

PS2 = Rubbish console + Fantastic games

It's Amazing. The consoles better than the PS2 but the PS2 has more games at the minute. E.g. Vice City

Besides, even if the likes of Mario are for kids, anyone who thinks they're too old to play kids games are just sad.

I think that everyone who's bought Jak and Daxter would agree with me.
