Anyone know if Nintendo will release a Platinum Range? Bit like PS2 PSOne has? Y'know, all the games are like £20. All the good quite old games, but still worth every penny. Know the ones?

Maybe someone should e-mail them..

they are bringing out the 'playes choice' thing , so thet's a kinda equivilent.

But It's a pit stupid to post this now, there is no budget strategies fr or miles off.

maybe bill will have some out in january... but jnot nintendo. they don't like loosing money to increase sales.

Super Monkey Ball isn't there... I dunno why, just didn't really picture it as one of the games to get into the Platinum range... I wouldn't be suprised if it did get in there, I just have a feeling it won't...

I'd guess games that go platinum would mostly be first and second party games, maybe a few third party games if the developer agreed (and I reckon third party games would be more likely to go platinum if they were GC exclusive, ie. Rogue Leader and Resi Evil).

Quick list of games that I think will go platinum:

First wave:

Luigi's Mansion
Rogue Leader
Wave Race
Pikmin
Super Smash Bros Melee

Second Wave:

Mario Sunshine
Resi Evil (maybe...)
Doshin (maybe...)
Eternal Darkness
Star Fox adventures

That's pretty much all I can think of for now... they are pretty much all the big GC exclusives I can think of, but I doubt we'll see any kind of budget range until sometime next year, with the second wave of budget titles not out until at least 3 months after the first...

But still, seeing those games, and future classics such as Metroid, Zelda, F-Zero and the 'true' Starfox sequel on a budget range would be a great thing!

Which Games are likey to become Player's Choice then, The non-3rd party games?

Is the ones that are just really good, Or the ones that get a great sale rating?

Too many questions :p But try to answer them ;)

Then again, you can get a lot of games for Platinum prices on eBay.

The N64 had 'Players Choice' which were older games for about £25, including Mario 64, Mario Kart, Goldeneye (I think...), F-Zero X and others...

There's bound to be some kind of platinum range on Cube, hopefully quite soon, so I can pick up all the Nintendo titles like Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin that look great, but I can't afford to spend £35-40 on...

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
