Also whats everyone views on the Neo 4, I know a Neo 2.2 can be fitted cheaper, but I don'tlike the idea of Disc swapping.
I DO NOT in anyway endorse piracy or copied software.
This Messiah chip would cost around £120 on some websites that I found, which is similar to the prices I got for the Neo 4.
My GT3 was scratched by my lil cousins whilst I werent @ home. so nothing I could do abt it really.
online places will collect ur ps2 via courrier, and most of them r decent places. some market jobs u dont know.
some dude gets hold of chips, gets diagrams, thinks i do it meself. easy money.
thing is neo4 uses 44 wires, so unless ur handy with a soldering iron, dont bother.
so if ur local market guy does it. check him out man, c if he`s done ne1 else`s ps2 + check ur not getting ripped off.
i would bet that in the coming year, there`ll b chips everywhere, online wise i mean. as i said earlier backdoor asian companies will copy channeltech`s chips and sell em to online traders.
just keep ur eye out 4 em
the yanks have will soon have the messiah copy, they will pay approx $89 so i guess over here its gonna b around the same figure
mod-chip.net is getting messiah copy and neostar mod chip which is a copy of the neo4. does the same thing.
i guess in time we will get these mod-chips aswell, as there seem 2 b a few companies that would sell them.
ne way go there have a look, mod-chip.net
I can't have Neo4 installed though, as it is a non-standard chip.
But I dont wanna risk my PS2 as yet....Ask around on car boot sales and stuff. It would help if you knew someone who is good with insides of computers
I advise that you just look after your games better!
